JENNIFER BLEIWEIS – Program Director

Jennifer is a 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education, and became a Board Registered Dietitian in 1988.  She has been a Gainesville resident since 2005, and is married to Mark and has three children.  Along with Pam Hess, she started the Alachua County council of Girls on the Run in 2009.
Fun fact:  Jennifer’s secret weakness is wayward animals.  Ask her how many she has!

PAMELA HESS –Community Relations and Business Development

Prior to starting Girls on the Run of Alachua County, Pam earned her B.S. in Health Care Administration.  She is married and has two children, and has lived in Gainesville since 1992.
Fun fact: Pam is competing in the Tough Mudder in December (look it up!).

NANCY SMITH – Executive Director

Nancy is a seven-year resident of Gainesville.  After earning a B.S. in psychology she enjoyed many years as a pre-school teacher and co-director. Running has been a theme throughout her life and she ran her first GOTR 5K in the late 1990s.  She is married with two grown children.
Fun fact: Nancy’s favorite destination is: anywhere out of the heat!
