Erica is a 1992 graduate of the University of Florida, a 1996 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Law and a 35 year resident of Gainesville. She has a great husband, two children and two dogs.
She has worked in the legal field since graduation and is currently employed with Info Tech, Inc. Erica has served not-for-profits in the Gainesville area such as the Junior League of Gainesville, Marine Institute, various school PTAs and Girls on the Run of Alachua County.
In her years with Girls on the Run of Alachua County she has served on the board, fulfilling a term as President and now serves as Council Director. She enjoys reading, traveling and crossfit.
Fun fact: She can stand on her head for over six minutes.
Before serving as Program Director, Deidre coached Girls on the Run and Girls on Track for several seasons. Deidre piloted the middle school Girls on Track program in Alachua County in 2013. Now, this Heart & Sole curriculum extends the Girls on the Run philosophies to impact and reach middle school girls. As program director, she hopes each girl in Alachua County is offered the opportunity to enjoy the benefits and fun of Girls on the Run.
Deidre graduated from the University of Florida with an MS in Speech-Language Pathology, and continues to serve as a licensed and registered Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Florida.
